Description:

Along with Shrapnel and Bombshell, Kickback is an Insecticon. Whenever Kickback is around, it usually spells bad news – for the Autobots, that is. He is especially adept at using his natural charm and intelligence to convince any bot to tell him all their secrets; once they’ve realized they’ve been duped, however, it’s already too late – Kickback is already long gone, along with the enemy’s plans. Of course, he respects his fellow Decepticons and would never dream of tricking them; anyone else, though, is fair game.

Back Story:

Kickback and the Insecticons joined the Decepticons primarily to get away from the tyranny of Autobot rule in Iacon, where they were assigned the task of recycling the Autobots’ decommissioned war ships at the dock yards. The Insecticons’ individual abilities, but particularly their shared ability to process organic materials into a source of refined fuel or other useful material, meant that they were valuable to the Autobots, who regarded them as their property and forced them to do work. However, Kickback left Iacon soon after with his fellow Insecticons to join the new faction of former Destrons. The Insecticons’ first contribution as Decepticons occurred when, along with Shockwave, the three of them helped seal all underground escape passages in Kolkular by converting raw material into reinforced blocks. This effectively limited Liege Maximo’s ability to retake the fortress in future.
